| 19 Projects Signed in "Russia Day of Business", Vice Minister Zhang Zhigang Attending the Signing Ceremony |

On June 16, "Russia Day of Business" sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation and Heilongjiang Provincial government was closed in Harbin. Total 19 cooperative projects were signed by enterprises of China and Russia with a contract value of US$940 million. Zhang Zhigang, Vice Minister of Commerce, took part in the signing ceremony.
After the signing ceremony, Mr. Zhang Zhigang said that the "Russia Day of Business" was rich and practical and made an obvious achievement. At the opening ceremony, Vice Premier Wu Yi talked about the prospect in border trade and economic cooperation between China and Russia and pointed out strategic and practical development suggestions. The policy introduction by administrative departments of Chinese and Russian governments enhanced the understanding of the tendency of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and development potential. On the other hand, several promotion and negotiation activities held in the "Day of Business" contributed to the deep communication among enterprises of the two countries and to the reaching of a series of cooperation agreements, which greatly complicated the achievements of the first "Russia Day of Business".
Mr. Zhang Zhigang said that cooperation was beneficial to both sides and win-win. He believed that enterprises in the two countries could completely make use of the advantages of themselves to realize mutual complementarity and to play an important role in the expansion of border trade between China and Russia, launching of investment, economic and technological cooperation and promotion of bilateral friendship, peace and development.
During the "Russia Day of Business", governments of China and Russia introduced respectively relative policies and answered questions of enterprises. Promotion conferences of policies and projects of revitalizing old industrial bases in northeast China, of part of Russian areas and of financial info institutions were held.
Total 19 projects were signed in the "Russia Day of Business", of which 10 were trade projects, 8 were economic and technological projects and 1 cooperation projects of Chambers of Commerce.
